Hey all! I haven't posted on PS in so long, so I'm rusty, but here goes...

Have you ever been planning a special birthday or anniversary with say and upgrade or a 3 stone or whatever and then get completely derailed by something sparkly? Yeah...that happened. I was perusing Distinctive Gem's website for something totally different, but fell for this lab grown elongated cushion and just had to see it in person. Jonathan has been lovely and understanding as I have waded my way through what it is I REALLY want and sadly I realized I needed to stick with my original plan. I won't he keeping this stone, but I thought I would share it with you all as we had a fun little photo shoot.

This is huge! And Beautiful!!! Even though you are not keeping, what are the measurements of the stone?

That looks really pretty.

Does your original plan also involve a lab diamond?

My original plan did not involve a lab diamond, hence the derailed part. ;)2 Well, that and I had not planned on an elongated AVC because I didn't know they existed. Even thought I'm going a different direction, I thought some precision cut lab diamond eye candy might help some folks out.

Just wanted to pop in and say that your 3.55ct OEC is one of the rings that started off my love of old cut stones. Can’t wait to see what your new project is ❤️

Well...this just made my day! Also, it reminded me that I have been meaning to update that old 3.55 thread with some new pictures.

I have a couple upcoming projects after a long time just living and enjoying what I had. I'll be posting some "in the works" type stuff soon. One is a mined OEC situation and the other is a lab stone from DG.

And btw, your toi et moi is about the coolest thing I've seen in a long time...so unexpected and whimsical. Well done!

Ahh can’t wait, will keep my eyes peeled! But I also think that you’ve hit the nail on the head: enjoying what we have is important - it’s easy to lust after other pieces, especially when there are so many incredible pieces on PS!

And thank you, appreciate the compliment :)

Thanks for sharing! Great to see pics of something on my wishlist :kiss2:
