My OEC has arrived & I'm fairly certain it's a keeper...

Pretty! I like it. Has a sort of "looking into water" feel to it. The prongs are interesting. It makes the stone seem more square than it is in the photos. Do they have that same effect in real life?

I love it! It looks bigger than its size and so elegent on your hand. Dreamy old stone!

I wrote to Erica to ask if she knows anything about the setting. [It just happened to be the setting that came with the diamond I wanted]. I don't think the diamond & setting were originally together, but I may be wrong.

I am gratified to get the thumbs-up from those here who know their OECs , thus having the feeling of "I did well!" confirmed.

Truthfully, when I first opened the ring box I was sort of -eh-nice stone. Then within minutes I was being seduced & it looked better and better. I think it fell asleep on it's long trip across the country and woke up when it saw the Carolina blue sky ........
I knew that coming from Love Affair it was good [I have almost zero understanding of what makes a great OEC even after reading & have never seen a good one in person] but needed confirmation from my panel of experts

Great stone. It looks to be original to the ring. The prongs don't appear to have been retipped. And, North or South Carolina?
