Thanks everyone, I can''t believe how nice all of you are! laughwithme, the dress is made by Allure Bridals - I don''t remember the style number but I will post it as soon as I find the receipt from the bridal shop. I paid $750 but I suspect I would have been able to find it for less if the owner had divulged the big secret of "who made the dress" to me before I put down the deposit. I hate when bridal shops do that

Fortunately, other than that one glitch, I had a wonderful dress shopping experience with them!
