My New Tacori :o)

Hi there! I just picked up my Tacori. Whoo hoo! I never knew waiting four weeks could seem so long. It was like I was counting down the hours towards the end....

Many thanks to all of you PSers for the knowledge I gained while searching for a diamond. We purchased our diamond from GOG and had a wonderful experience with them. We would highly recommend them to anybody searching for a stone!

A big thank you to Sabinameister and MommaBear for posting their pictures of this same exact setting. I probably would not have found this ring had it not been for you.

I learned two things when I was trying to take pictures of my ring...

#1 - My pictures are not PS worthy. We just have a point & click digital camera, nothing fancy. I will be adding "new digital camera that can take good pictures of my ring" to my Christmas list this year.

#2 - My fingers look even shorter and stumpier (is that a word?) in pictures! Oh yeah, my ring size is a 4.5.

I just realized that all of my hand shots look the same! Sorry for being redundant. I tried to take pictures of the ring up close, but my camera wouldn't cooperate. I REALLY need a good camera now.

Thank you all for the nice replies. I have tried and tried to get better pictures, but....NO LUCK! My camera is really disappointing me when I need it the most!

I will try to take more pictures (including profile shots) tomorrow.

I meant it when I said I wouldn't have this ring if it weren't for you. So I am very thankful that I stumbled across your post. For now, I am not going to get a band. When we got married, my husband bought me a bezel set 3/4 eternity band. I wore that for a year and a half, and my new Tacori is my upgrade. This is my first diamond ring and I am so in love.

I keep looking at it and saying to myself "Is this really real???". LOL. I like the way your band looks with OUR ring (hehe), so if I do decide to get a band, I will be re-visiting your post!

I can''t figure out how to make my avatar picture any better, so I guess that will just have to do for now. Not only do I need a new camera, but I also need a lesson on how to make my PS pictures look better...hehe.
