My new round brilliant thanks to this community

Wow! Looking so crisp!

Now I need to decide on a setting. I'm leaning towards and delicate tulip with cathedral or bezel/half bezel.

The other thing I'm debating and would love input is two tone prong/setting white gold or platinum or the entire ring gold. For my skin tone I want gold shank, but for this colorless diamond will gold setting/prongs make the diamond look yellow? Originally I was looking at G colored diamonds and I knew with that I wanted all yellow gold.

Does the color of the setting really change the color perception of the colorless diamond?

From what I've gathered and seen in many pictures and videos here: a colorless diamond with extreme light return and optical performance will still exhibit an exceptionally icy appearance in a yellow gold setting. I think you'll be fine with whatever setting your heart desires.

The diamond will still look white even in a yellow gold setting. This is my rock on a yellow gold setting and it still look white to me.

It is a F color stone. I was lucky that the diamond turns out ok. I sorta blind buy the stone without Ideal scope or Aset scope image.
