My new ring is here!

Just wanted to share my excitement with you all. My new ring came in and I couldn''t be happier! Only a couple of pics now, more to follow.

It''s actually a Vatche... got it from Derco in the Bay Area. The ring is a size 6.5, although it seems a bit loose. I''m going to wear it for a week or so before deciding whether I need to size down. The stone is a 1.51, H, SI1. The pics don''t do the setting justice... it really sparkles!

Shout out to jayrenay9 for her help in my decision making (her gorgeous ring is a similar vatche)!

On another subject, we had a toy thread going...memories of old toys we loved. When I saw your name I recalled a doll I had I loved her so. Was her name Thumblelina? All the girls of that era...(shhhhh not telling how old...) had one. Won''t you tell us the orgin of your name?

Here are some more pics taken outside. My sweet hubby wanted to get me the ring of my dreams for our 1-yr anniversary... but it took 6 months to find! I bought a curved wedding band to "go" with the ring... although I think I''ll probably wear it solo most of the time (with band on special occasions). Not sure about that yet.

As for Thumbelina... not sure what origin is. I remember when I was a little girl (many years ago

) I always wanted to change my name to Thumbelina. My mom never let me though. Not sure why.
