My new ring: a yellow sapphire double halo ring

Hi everyone, wishing you all a very happy 2025! It feels like forever since I’ve been on PS but I needed to take a long hiatus to save up my funds for new projects. When I spend time on PS, I can’t help buying pretty new stones.

Anyway, without further ado, here’s my new ring: a 1.43 ct unheated Ceylonese radiant step-cut yellow sapphire set in a double halo of yg and wg.

This is my first double halo project and I’m happy with how it turned out. Sorry, there are no good outdoor shots as we have monsoon season over here in Asia.

I really have to thank PS. I was not born with good taste but 10 years of being a member here has really refined and polished (pun intended!) my aesthetics in such profound ways, from learning about cuts and how to choose coloured stones, to knowing what I like and being able to confidently make decisions on my custom projects. All while not breaking the bank and staying in my modest budget. Now I’m so happy with my beautiful collection that’s almost complete. And after all these years, you all are the only ones who understand this obsession .
