My new purple sapphire halo ering!!!

So, my boyfriend of almost 4 years proposed to me yesterday!!!

It is a deep purple sapphire measuring 8mm x 8mm. It is a cushion cut with a 14kt white gold halo setting. I wanted the halo and the band to be super-dainty so it looked sparkly but not ostentatious. The sapphire is a very rich purple with strong flashes of a raspbery red, especially in incandescent light. It has just enough flash for me without being overwhelming.

I love it and I wanted to share

I just noticed in the first pic there is a lot of dust on the sapphire- it looks like inclusions but it was just dust.
