My new plain 1.5mm band

I had posted in Rocky Talky that I was looking for a 1.5mm palladium wedding band to use more or less as a spacer at some point. I could not find any anywhere and emailed e-weddingbands for help. They were able to custom make this for me at the same price as a 2mm which was a steal. I thought 2mm would be small enough but after doing some PS research I decided I would go for the 1.5. I am so glad that I did, it''s perfect!

I have read of at least 2-3 other PSers having small customizations done by them!

I ordered it last Thur. and the same day they made it and had it shipped Fedex. I got it today. I worked with Jillian and she was wonderful. Just use the "contact us" form on their website and let them know you want this size band and she will help you with the rest.

Addy- the website says it''s 1.5mm thick for a 2mm wide so I''m not exactly sure if mine is as well. Hope the pics help.

I actually asked about shaving a plat. 2mm band to 1.5 when I was shopping a few months ago and e-weddingbands would not do this.. maybe they''ve changed their policies? I went with a different vendor who was able to do it, but the guarantees/warranties/returns policies were restricted to workmanship issues only - I think this will be pretty standard.

Maybe they only do gold and palladium then?? hmm wonder why... it''s softer right?

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. It''s not really all that exciting but I figured if anyone was considering that size band hand pictures would help!
I have a slightly curved wedding band that looks ok with my ring. I am currently having it sized down since it''s too big on my finger. I am hoping with a spacer it may look better. Sometime down the line I would like a low profile dainty diamond band to go with it. If I ask for anymore jewelry this year I think my DH might have the big one. LOL

Guess what! I contacted them and they will in fact now do a custom 1.5mm in platinum! Due to durability issues, they don''t sell them on its own, but will accommodate custom requests for those of us who want to use it as a spacer!

I would have never thought to ask them to do a 1.5mm. Now you have me thinking about what style I want now!
