I shouldn't have....but I stopped in the pawn shop that has lots and lots of jewelry.
This pretty sparkler caught my eye.
I can't see any inclusions under my 20x loupe. There are little heart shaped cut outs on the sides.
It has a beautiful puffy crown!

They had lots of gorgeous things there, but when I saw that this was an old cut, my eyes glazed over, and next thing I knew I was paying for it!

I'm in northern New Mexico.
There are pawn shops all over my city, mostly in older neighborhoods. A few are in sketchy areas but most are in safe places.
I travel all over town for my job, so when I'm driving by a pawn shop, I stop in if I have time.

Love your sweet find! I'm the same: when I travel, I look for pawn shops. I haven't had luck with old cuts tho :-( I will live vicariously through you and @YadaYadaYada ;-)

I love the pawn shops. They tend to have very unusual jewelry!
