Thanks to Fortekitty and her amazing ebay skills, I now have a perfect (for me) OEC Barbara pendant. I am in the minority here: I have a really big crush on yellow gold. The stone a little over .5 ct. I don't know the specs but after having macro photo'd it I don't see a single inclusion so it's gotta be pretty high up and it's a very bright color. I have it on a 15" beaded 14k YG chain so it hits right at my clavicle that I bought on ebay.

First I'll show you the picture of it in its original setting. The first picture is the one that was used on the ebay auction. It wasn't listed as OEC but Fortekitty is like the OEC whisperer so she knew it was worth a shot. The second picture is one that I took with my macro lens just to show how amazingly perfect the faceting is.

And here's the necklace.

One last pic that I took of it the night I got it. It's not the best, but again it shows some nice faceting.

It is BEAUTIFUL! That's exactly what I'm thinking of doing! Can you post a LOT more photos??? Your stone is gorgeous - good find, fortekitty!

Does it flip forward, stay flat, roll around at all? what other BGD styles did you consider before selecting this one? I'm VERY interested in your process :-)

I like this style because it lets the most light in from the back. It does have a tendency to flip but that's mostly due to it being just a tad but too long so it hits my neck at an angle. I love BGD's customer service and their milgraining is TDF. IMO they're the way to go.

It does look spectacular on your neck - it falls in just the right spot and what a sparkler it is! Just perfection on a chain
I'm debating between the Barbara martini or bezel... but I also like the 1/2 bezel too! Can't decide if I want a slider or fixed - what guided you towards the slider? (Other than it is ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS to look at - duh! ;)) )

I like the idea that I'm not stuck with the chain. It doesn't move all that much, but I think that's because the chain is beaded. It probably would move on a smoother chain.

And thank you for the nice compliments.

That's beautiful! I love the chain you have for it, too.

I love it! The milgraining is to die for!

Beautiful! I'm a new OEC fan and I love the setting you chose.

That setting is the best choice for an OEC, totally look perfect.

Is the length of the chain adjustable or is that the stock length?

That was the perfect setting for an OEC! I love mine, too!
