My "new" marquise ring

When I got my marquise earrings a couple months back, I succumbed and bought a matching ring as well. However, I was never thrilled with the aquamarine centre so I got my jeweller (my favourite man other than DH and my dad

) to find me a new centre. So here's my revamped ring with the sapphire centre.

Specs:
1 ct orange-red sapphire, non-heat treated

The new stone is really rich and vibrant - I love it.

Here are some bad shots that I just took in the office

- it shows the "before" and "after". Anyway, it's the end of the day and time to go home now.....
