Anyways, it''s a .87 H-SI2

This one is to compare it to my current stone. Oddly enough the look about the same size in this picture! The current middle stone is .52. Go figure.

and here is my pitiful attempt at using the roses DH sent from Iraq for our anniversary. Admittedly I kept them around longer than needed just so I can try diamond/flower pictures.

I have no idea what I''m going to do with it, now that I have it, I spent today going to various jewelers and setting it in some mountings to see what I like and don''t like.

Each of these are approx .54ct, which with my new baby will be almost 2 ct's

If I get the set that is .30 ct each, then I can afford to go platinum. Thoughts?

If you feel in your gut that the settings you''re choosing now are not permanent and you might want to upgrade, then I''d do 18K; but if you feel in your heart that this set is your "forever" set? Then I''d definitely do platinum.

I know I''ll be keeping the stone forever, but the setting, I can see upgrading it again, not in the next 10 years or anything, but it''s not my last stop on the upgrade train.
