My new ering

A while ago, I posted about possibly having a new ering made up using a stunning aqua and a couple of 25 point princess cut diamonds.

I had decided against it, simply because I wanted to hold out for asschers to flank the aqua.

My husband however felt that it was a fine idea to go ahead using the stones I had as they were stones from his childless Aunts ering...

But. He didn''t tell me till he proposed (again, 13 years to the day) yesterday!

I had no idea, and no say in the design at all! And I LOVE IT!

With the matching curved wedder he had made to fit.

The stats;

2 x 0.25pt warm coloured diamonds(I am guessing I or J? I will find out when I get it appraised)
3 ct step cut aqua (I think. I will have to find the paperwork for this stone)
18ct yellow and white gold.

I found a twin to my old ering today at work, and will have 1ct TDW earrings made sometime soon

My old ering is the on top, and the new addition is on the bottom. They are not as warm as they look in my photos. H colour & VS1 they will make a fine pair of studs.

Anyway, I found the paperwork on the aqua today. Why was I thinking 3ct? It''s only 1.65 (I say that like its tiny! lol) Sorry about that. And I worked out my US size, and I am a 6.5, I am an Australian M.

I ran for the camera whe I saw the sun was almost out this afternoon, and took a handshot & a couple of others.
