My new engagement ring - courtesy of Pricescope/Knox/WF

My boyfriend and I got engaged this weekend - and thanks to Pricescope, Brian Knox at Knox Jewelers and Whiteflash, I have the beautiful engagement ring of my dreams. The setting is a custom piece done by Brian Knox and the diamond is from Whiteflash. The particulars are:

.82 carat
A Cut Above/H&A
H Color
SI1

And, my finger is a size 9 3/4, so I definitely don''t have dainty fingers, but the diamond is beautiful and substantial. I love it!

We live in Seattle, WA., and he took me to Victoria, British Columbia for the weekend. He asked me there at a restaurant overlooking the Victoria harbour. It was really beautiful. He had pink M&M''s made that said "Will you marry me?" So cute!

Brian Knox was awesome to work with. The setting was custom made based on some ideas I had, and it is so delicate and sparkly in person. Sheerah at Whiteflash helped us with the diamond and she really gave my fiance great advice - the diamond is so sparkly and gorgeous. The whole experience from start to finish has been just perfect!

Thanks to everyone for all the very kind comments! As for a wedding band, right now I''m leaning towards having Brian Knox make me two thin bands exactly like the sides of the engagement ring (if they were straight of course), and wearing one on top and one on bottom. I''ll think about it more in the coming months I''m sure. Both of us have been married before, and it was really important to me to have a ring I love and that is unique and sparkly and fun, and it turned out even better than I thought it would. I was surprised by how delicate it is in real life, the pictures from Knox just can''t quite relay the scale once the ring is on your hand.
