my new emerald purchase

Its an Indian Emerald rough weighing 300cts..almost 70% is clean..I loved the color too..so wanted to share it with ps.

Cool, but it has a lot of matrix on it. Are you going to have it cut?

I sell roughs generally as they are..lack of time to get them cut actually

I don''t think it''s facetable due to the amount of matrix I see.

well there is a faceting grade in the center around 60-70 cts and around 50-60cts on the side ..rest can be used as a cab.. the problem that I see right now in the rough is the black skin which is hurting to see its transperancy..otherwise if you see it in natural sunlight..its beautiful and clean too

So emerald rough is like jade rough and has skin over the crystal, very interesting!
