What are the specs on the diamond? It looks great in that setting.
Kim - she's a 3 year old yellow lab that we got last October from a lab rescue shelter. It's really sad how many dogs are abandoned and/or put in shelters.
John - The rescue shelter is definitely the place to find a pup, that is where I will be headed when I get permission (ha) to have one! Wish more people would use the shelters/SPCA's/Dogster instead of the maul stores! That's why so many end up in the shelters....sad
What a sweet doggie!!!!! Gals after my own heart!!!! I just LOVE my three shelter kitties!!! (The shelter has about 25 dogs and 250 cats!!! Yikes!!!) They were older so they already had great manners and got along with other cats...I just don't understand how anyone could have given them up...they are just three dogs trapped in cat bodies!!!!
I think your ring is just perfect. Exactly what I would have picked had I had the option. I've always loved that traditional baguette and round center look. Good Job!!! And of course congratulations on your up coming marriage. The most important part.
As for the setting, it is not from a designer collection that I know of...Actually, we found it in a small jewelry store outside of New York City. I looked in dozens of stores for something similiar, but to no avail...So we went with this one
Congratulations! It's a beautiful ring, but I would think so because mine is very similar! It does look a lot like one of Verragio's rings; it would have their name engraved inside the band if it were. Best wishes!
Gasp!
That's the ring I want!! I've been lurking around this site for awhile and finally decided to post. Congratulations on your beautiful ring, now I will just hold my breath and hope!
Shelter dogs are the BEST. I have two...Told hubby he can get out of upgrading my ering if he gets me another shelter doggie... He's thinking REAL hard.
Hmmm, for a wedding band we were beginning to look at something with alternating baguettes and small round diamonds. The only concern is if the band should have some type of curve in it so it sits flush with the e-ring. I have been searching online, and there are some similar styles, but none with any curve in the band. A local goldsmith said he could make me a wax model with the diamonds until it's perfect! I'll be sure to let you all know
