My new e-ring with Pics!

Hello everyone!

Just got back from New Year''s eve trip and I am engaged! YEAY!!! He told me that I was to "forget about" the ring for a while so that when he proposed it would be a surprise (since I was involved with the process).

Now how can a girl forget about such a pretty thing!

Anyways - these are my first attempts at pictures. Hopefully I can get a good enough shot for the picture contest

. I should learn to clean it before I photograph it (you''ll see...)

Quick stats: Ring - 1.5 Round F S12 (very eye clean

) in solitare 4 prong Platnium from GOG.

I was in a similar situation to you......I did all the legwork in finding the diamond. That still didn't diminish my surprise and delight at seeing the ring in person for the first time when Rich gave it to me. I fell in love with it when I first laid eyes on it, and being involved in the purchase didn't diminish my enjoyment of it one bit.




Nice, nice work, and congrats on your engagement. Gaze at it often, and when you do, remind yourself how nice it was that your guy was willing to let you in on the process.

And Aljdewey - I agree - helping in the process did not diminish any of my suprise happiness or anything of the sort. We've been together for a while, so it's natural for us to consider large purchases together. It's funny - but we wouldn't have considered buying anything of this value without each others opinions.
