I ordered this from Dan Stairs today. This is my first colored gemstone purchase, outside of uninformed maul store purchases, lol. This ring is my first jewelry project - a bit of a gift to myself.

Thanks for the nice comments! It will go in this setting. I saw it AGES ago at a local jewelry store and fell in love with it. I stumbled on it for a great price on Pearlman''s clearance page and decided to go for it.

I love the quality of the cut on that stone, like a diamond cut. Beautiful!!! I have a similar color diamond cut green demantoid in a similar bezel setting, and it really stands out. I think you''ll love the end result.

I finally received my stone and it is GORGEOUS!! It is a tad darker than the photo and I love it! It sparkles like crazy and will look great in this setting. I''ll try to get my hands on a digital camera when it is finished to post some shots.

Just wanted to say I think the stone will look lovely in the Pearlman''s setting. I am so glad someone on PS bought that setting, because I LOVED it and admired it on the Pearlman''s site for a long time. So will be glad to get to see how it turns out. Can''t wait for pics
