My natural green rose cut diamond finally set in the wreath!

I know some of you were waiting to see this diamond set in the wreath band. I originally wanted to have it bezel set but it turned out it was almost triple the budget I was thinking of to make a hand made bezel. So I decided to go with prong setting that has extended metal to protect the stones sides from banging giving it a little bit more protection than a normal prong. I love the head that was picked and gives more finger coverage, and I love how the diamond changes from darker/lighter or more yellow green/gray green depending on different backgrounds and angles.
These are all taking outside under a cloudy. drizzily day. Sometimes it was hard to take a picture with the shine/polish of the diamond.

modern and yet it looks ancient like the fine jewelry one sees in museums that was dug up at ancient Roman sites!

Thank you . Unfortunately not any time soon. This will be my last project for a while as I am trying harder to save money . Hopefully my next one will be the one my boyfriend will give me, I am hoping at least

Hi. Thank you I didn't fully design it from scratch as me doing sketches, but. I bought the the wreath band separately from a designer on etsy and then I picked out the head I wanted for the stone that I thought would look good with the wreath band with my jeweler.

Well since it is a opaque and rose cut it was very cheap, (I knew I couldnt afford anywhere near a a normal cut s1 green natural diamond , but I liked the idea of a natural colored diamond, even if i could get a irridated green diamond for a little more ) Becuase it is rose cut to, and flat on the bottom the 1.2 ct diamond seems bigger than the ct weight, and thr rose cut goes well with the nature theme I had . It only cost me around $150 not including shipping from India.

That is a great price! Congrats! have a couple irritated diamond pieces, and they just tend to sit in the jewelry box. You're right about the SI greens being high priced. Mine isn't even considered a "fancy" green, but its an SI 2.
