My mean ol' husband... (regarding appraisal)

So I sent hubby to have Lady J appraised today.

He sends me a text to say he's at the jewellers and that the appraisal will take 45 minutes. 30 minutes later he calls me at work and says "The gemologist says there's a problem, and she needs to talk to you. She wants to know if you've hit the ring recently or bumped it on something, as there's a chip in the girdle. She showed it to me with a loop". I was like OMG this is totally not happening, and there's no way in hell Lady J is chipped (by the way I have a loop and look at her all the time). Just before I flew off the handle hubby says "just kidding... don't hang-up". LOL he knows when I'm pi$$ed off I hang-up the phone on him. SO NOT FUNNY THOUGH!

Thankfully Lady's J stats checked out, and her EGL (USA) stats were exactly what the GIA certified gemologist confirmed as well.

My hubby is a brat, but I guess I can put up with him for a few more years.

He's funny ---- but you HAVE to get him back.... take his car and then call him and ask if its always had that big dent in the back? or pick up dry cleaning and ask if they were always that shade of 'rust' on the elbows! Or tell him you're pregnant ---- that should get his attention!

Since he just got a new car I need to do something like that - especially since I haven't driven it yet. It's a perfect idea!

I would totally take it out and just park in an empty lot and call all hyperventilate-y and say something happened to your car. I called the cops and insurance, but you need to come look at it. And just like, have it freshly washed or something.
