Okay, I have a new favorite on PS!! This is scrumptious; individually or as a set. Clean classic lines that allow the diamonds to do all the talking!! It doesn''t get better than that; you are one lucky lady. Enjoy!Date: 8/11/2008 8:30:35 PM

Thanks everyone for your very kind replies.
I have a few more pics of the ring with the Pearlman''s band. I do wonder whether the asscher band is a bit too heavy for the Maytal ring, but it''s such a nice band for such a great price, I just couldn''t pass it up. I only got one picture on my index finger because I still can''t get the ring over my ring finger knuckle. Soon, I hope.
Me too! I wish I didn't see these flaws (in my ring; I don't see any in yours). My eye just sees/catches any lack of symmetry etc... Actually for me, I don't necessarily see flaws in all my jewelry, (or at least, not to the point of catching my eye & bugging me). Mainly just anything my e-diamond has been set in. I have a feeling most people just don't even notice their jewelry enough to pick up the flaws. And I try to console myself that (hopefully) I'm the only one seeing the flaws in my own, although somehow that never does console me much!Date: 8/12/2008 10:44:31 PM

Yes, I think you and I are very similar in terms of wanting/needing 'perfection' in our jewelry. I think it's great if you (and I) can learn to live with things that are just a hair less than 'perfect'. I'm finally learning to accept that nothing handmade (or even machine made) is ever totally without some kind of 'flaw'. I don't own a single piece of jewelry that is, to my eye, totally flawless. I often wonder if there are some people whose jewelry is totally perfect to them and, if so, whether it actually is or they just don't pick up on the flaws I would inevitably see.
Thanks!! I appreciate that! Your ring is truly beautiful, and I really love the last photo of the new (antique) ring w/ your new Maytal ring.Date: 8/18/2008 11:46:13 PM

OFG -- Thanks so much. I know you understand what it's like when things don't go exactly as you expect with a custom ring. Luckily for me, my complaint is relatively minor and Maytal really did do an excellent job. That said, I've had my fair share of catastrophes. I really do think Quest did an outstanding job reworking your ring. I think it looks incredible!
