What's the carat size? It could be a transitional; it looks a lot like my grandmother's stone, which was appraised as an OEC but does not look like the OEC's I see posted here.

Thanks for the compliments...it''s just gorgeous in person...I can''t take a picture worth phooey...such fire...yes you see the pastel flashes in fluorescent light and red, orange, blue fire in sunlight....

Oh Nancy, I just love this ring!!! I am so drawn to these older rings, I oogle them all the time on ebay. There is just something so special about them, and this one is no exception! I LOVE the setting, just beautiful, that diamond is gorgeous, you are so lucky to have such a special piece! Would love to see some hand shots!

I was doubting myself...*phew*...I''ve having it sized and appraised...He said and I quote " you got an exceptional buy"...makes a gal feel real good...He also confirmed that it was at least 0.83ct maybe a little more for the center stone...

So I''ll leave it to PS''ers to see if I got a good buy....drumroll....
