It’s a 7.421 ct. Pink Tourmaline from Africa, loop clean. The stone measures 10.75 mm, and is cut in a Royal Asscher.

I''ve had it since Christmas, but the photo was too large to post.....I just figured out how to resize it.

OMG that''s enough to make me being to love pink tourmaline again! I adore the way the facets show different shades/colours. Does it do that in real life?

It''s beautiful.

LORI - You''ve had a 7+ct asscher since Cmas, and all we get is a vendor pic??!! Holy frak that stone looks awesome, and I think I could hate you for it.

HI:

My size of stone! Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow. I'm not a fan of very pink stones, but what a beauty!

WOW!! Beautiful cut and color! Please tell us -- what are your plans for this stone? I need to live vicariously through the gem purchases of others right now -- at least until I can find a job!

I love the cut!
The cut was so cool I didn''t even notice the color much till I read this post. LOL

I think it looks like a wonderful stone. What will you do with it?

Have you set it yet? How about your pictures of the stone?

I tried taking my own photos last night and they all came out blurry....I''m still trying to get the hang of this photo taking thing! Anyway, this is the MOST AMAZING stone...it looks just like the photo and the flashes of color are awesome....the cut is PERFECT! Gene is the man!

No idea what to do with her yet. I may use her in my new engagement ring that I''m thinking up....we''ll see.

What do YOU think I should do with her?

Lori

Are you thinking definitely ring? It would look great in a simple bezel setting like Lauren''s.

GORGEOUS! And with that size and color - WOW!

Wow, you''ve had it since Christmas and haven''t set it!! Shame shame!!

I hope you set it soon so you can enjoy it all the time.

That pink tourmaline is worthy of being an engagement ring stone. I believe it''s from Gene''s stock of pink tourmalines that hold their colour under all lighting conditions, if I am not mistaken, but I could be wrong. Still, the colour, cutting and size would be outstanding in a ring with a strong sentimental value.

Gene resized his photo for me....here''s a better look!
