First off, I want to thank those who contribute to Pricescope. The wealth of information helped us make an informed a decision and saved us a lot compared to buying at a brick & mortar store.

This was DH's e-ring upgrade gift to me after 7 years together. Our experience with JA was great - helpful, 24/7 customer service with quick replies, and a very quick turnaround - 5 days to process the international money order, obtain stone, set it, and ship to Canada! Highly recommended.

Stats:
1.5 carat RB
J
SI1
Very Good cut
Excellent polish & symmetry
2.5 mm knife edge Platinum band

It is eye clean and appears very white to my visible eye. With some of the macro shots, I see the slightest yellow from the side, but it doesn't bother me at all!

+1. Congrats!

cheers--Shaorn

It sits beautifully on your hand! Great upgrade!

Gorgeous solitaire! And your wedding set is just so elegant - would you share the details of your wedding band? Its proportions are lovely and so complementary to your ER.

So beautiful and classy! I was torn between choosing that kind of setting or a 3 stone ring with pears as side stones. I chose the 3 stone setting, but I'm still drooling over that classic solitaire setting. Yours is perfect!

Classically beautiful......and such lovely fingers (jealous) :Up_to_something:
Congratulations!

Gorgeous, classy, and stunning! Congrats your set looks amazing! :appl:

It's beautiful and looks great with your wedding band!!

Thank you all so much!

My ring size is 4, I could probably go down a bit smaller, but when I am warm my fingers swell a bit and I prefer a slightly loose fit!

Is the band I chose. It is super comfortable and I like the height of the setting. I like a size differential between the band width and the solitaire diamond itself. Also, I am a physician so having a ring without too much intricacies is important for work reasons (getting caught on things, etc.)

My wedding band was purchased at Michael Hill (https://www.michaelhill.com) in the mall. I honestly cannot remember the specs, but the diamonds are only on the front and it's set in 18k white gold. I liked it because of the slight V shape which allows an RB solitaire to sit nicely. I prefer thinner wedding bands as I think smaller diamonds or even a plain band provide a more striking contrast with a solitaire!

Lovely! I like the uniqueness of your wedding band too.

Your new ring is beautiful - enjoy!

Classic and elegant! :appl:
