Thanks for your explanation. Hmmmm....... This new light opens up a lot of options for me in getting a 3 plus ct diamond with high color/clarity. I need to think of the right setting for such a large stone.Date: 8/1/2009 11:40:09 AM

FancyDiamond,
I am glad that you asked this question and I''m happy to share my experience of going from ACA to just AGS Ideal Cut.
I had two ACA stone 1.07 F and 1.24 I before I went with this one.
Yes, I went with this one mainly because of J with Medium Blue (was very curious to see Fluor effect in the real life). I was worried how ES will perform compared to my ACA stones, plus it scored 1.6 and 1.8 on HCA with only VG for scintillation (because of 40.9 pavilion and 30.6 crown combo)
Well, this stone exceeded all my expectations.
This stone throws flashes of white, blue and a lot of rainbow colors in most types of lightings.
It does it even under direct sunlight, where ACA stones tended to ''glow''.
It changes the way it dancing with my every step. The second I walked into Wal-Mart it turned to a disco ball.
In the deep shade or in the car on the gloomy day, it looks like the water splashes inside of it. It''s mesmerizing effect.
It''s obvious, I''m in love with this stone.![]()
Glad that you made the right choice. Please celebrate and wear it with good health forever.
