OK, as many of you know, DH has been pestering me to tell him what I want for Christmas this year, and I''ve been having A LOT of trouble deciding! I finally narrowed it down to either a new Coach bag OR a Beverley K eternity band. But, the Bev K band was a bit over the budget I *thought* I was working with, so I all but dismissed that option and started focusing my efforts on looking for a Coach bag. Well, when DH saw the Bev K eternity band, he decided that I needed it! So, we ordered it from Pearlman''s yesterday, and it might even get here before Christmas if we''re really lucky! (It''s this one.)
Welllll . . . DH and I were Christmas shopping today, and we happened to stop by the Coach outlet because I needed an umbrella and I was wondering if they had any on sale. (They did, and I got a nice black and white optic print one for only $39!) While we were there, I saw THE BAG that I had been wanting! It''s the fall patchwork gallery tote, and I thought the outlets were completely sold out of them, so I had been looking at them on eBay. (Here''s an eBay listing for the exact same bag.) Not only did the outlet have some, but THEY WERE ON SALE!!! The original price was $398, and they were marked down to $280, with an additional 50% off of that, so they were only $140! DH knew that I had been wanting this bag, and that I was going to ask him to get it for me for Christmas until the Bev K band option came up. I had showed him the bag online, and he thought it was ugly! LOL!
But, even though he didn''t like it, he was going to get it for me because it was what I wanted . . . until he decided to increase the budget so that he could get me the Bev K band instead! Well, when he saw that I found one at the outlet today, and he saw that it was RIDICULOUSLY on sale, he said "You should just get it!" OMG, I LOVE THAT MAN!!!
So then I went to Victoria''s Secret later today without DH (he was at Gander Mountain! LOL!) to get a gift card for my cousin. While I was checking out, the cashier said "Wow, your purse is really cute!" I said, "Yeah, I just got it today . . . it''s an early Christmas present from my hubby!"
Just had to share my excitement, because I knew you guys would understand!
