Hi there
The dreaded diamond shrinkage hit me about a year ago.
I decided that I couldn’t live without a halo.
I HAD to have one.
Just one problem.
Most of the suppliers of halo settings wouldn’t sell them without the center stone.
Or they wouldn’t sell a setting without setting me sending them my diamond to set.
As I’m in the UK it wouldn’t be practical – custom hassles, couldn’t get insurance etc.
I got a quote for a halo from a local jeweller - £3200 (about $5400).
Just for a halo - no diamonds on shank.
So I was stuck.
Enter Bill Pearlman to the rescue.
I’d read that Bill could supply Ritani settings without a center stone so I emailed him.
He was really helpful and said that as long as I had the center stone dimensions he could help me.
So to cut the long story short here is my new pride and joy.
Ritani french cut cushion halo.
Sorry for the poor quality, I tried really hard but I can't take photos.
And here's a hand shot
You really didn't think I'd take a photo of my terrible hand!!!
Picked the ring up from the jewellers on Saturday.
Of course I had to wear it even though we were only going grocery shopping.
The women behind me in the till queue at Waitrose told me she loved my ring.
Compliments and I'd only worn it for a hour.
Can't be bad!!!!
All thanks to Bill Pearlman.

P.S. Picture of old ring
