My heirloom Tiffany pendant!!!!

Ha ha. It really is an heirloom, and it really is from Tiffany & Co, but I bet it''s not what you Tiffany lovers were expecting.

This is the gold scholarship medal my great uncle won in high school. He wore it as a watch fob. I wear it around my neck on a chain or clipped to a necklace.

Just to clarify, the word "memorial" refers to the man whom the scholarship is named after, not to my great uncle. He was just the kid who won the scholarship one year.

You guys, you're so sweet! I thought you would get on my case for teasing you with an unblingy Tiffany piece. I've had it for years, but I only just noticed the Tiffany mark.

Uncle Leon was married to my mother's favorite aunt. He was a violinist, but he worked as a shoe salesman during the Depression. They had no kids. They were cultured, well-traveled sweetiepies.
