My haul from 2015 jewellery fair.

I decided to start a new thread for my purchases from the same fair which icyjade and michellechan recently posted about.
First ones are the two platinum Tahitian pearl rings. Close up shots of them being viewed from the top.

The larger 12.5 mm lilac pearl ring is two toned, with the bottom being more green and the top light purple. I like it best being viewed from the top.

This is the smaller 11.3mm peacock pearl ring. It is peacock when viewed from the side but quite a nice vibrant green when viewed from the top.

That is all I have for the moment. I will post the other pearl pairs I bought when I receive them from the vendor.

Thanks for the pics! They are both gorgeous but the two toned one is special... Will you be able to take clearer pics of their side profiles pls? I would love to see the colors more clearly.

When will you be collecting the drilled pearls? It's too bad that Golay didn't bring their drilling machine along. Most of the Japanese vendors did and they could string/set the pearls on the spot too.

Thank you! That is my favourite one too. I was telling icy jade the other day that when I was trying to decide between the two rings, the vendor (Japanese) tried to gently nudge me towards the green one because it is the desirable colour in Japan. Well, I certainly do not mind clearing out their stock of undesirable colours if they are as pretty as this one

Received the other pearl pairs and I will post the photos.
First up, as a group. From top left and in clockwise direction: pistachios, GSS, purples and greens.

The GSS are 11-12 mm and button. I notice a difference in the tones with one being lighter. But worn as earrings, I am hoping it will not be noticeable. I think they are light to medium GSS.

These are green Tahitians with a slight hint of blue. 9-10mm rounds. I like the bright colour.

These are the lilac/aubergine 10-11mm rounds. The ring looks darker than IRL

Here are the 10.5-11mm pistachios, slightly off round.
The actual pearls are just a little lighter and my camera is making it look more green than I see with my eyes.

The earrings and ring were bought in different shops. I bought what I liked from the selection available. Matching was not the primary intent cos I seldom wear matching sets.
