My MOH and 3 bridesmaids have all picked out their dresses! I''m very excited and want to share with you all! They''re all from Alfred Angelo, and the color is Celadon (like a sage green). The MOH will be wearing this, but in satin rather than taffeta...

One of the bridesmaids chose this dress, which I adore and might have chosen for myself if I were a bridesmaid rather than the bride...

One will be wearing this, but with 3 inches of extra length so it falls below the knee (she''s a tall gal)...

And the fourth girl is wearing separates, and I''m not Photoshop-savvy enough to put them together. Here''s the top; the straps are actually beaded even though they look plain, and she''s going to have it altered so the straps cross in the back...

I love those, they all look so classy. Congrats on checking something off the wedding planning list..

The bottom is just a tea-length A-line skirt, nice and flowy...

Anyway, I think they''re all really nice and will look great together. I''ve seen 3 of them on the girls (the one who''s wearing the ruched bodice lives out in California and I''m in PA), and they look really great! Can''t wait to see them all on my wedding day!

Very kind of you to let them pick their own dresses! Very nice to get something checked off the list!

They''re beautiful! I love them all.

Thanks, ladies!

Neatfreak, I took a tip from a wedding I was in a few weeks ago (actually, the girl from California was the bride). We all wore different Jim Hjelm dresses, and they really looked great together. They were all the same fabric (satin) and color combination (aqua and brown), although the MOH was actually in opposite colors to the rest of us (brown with aqua trim vs aqua with brown trim). They were all different lengths and necklines, and two of them had lace detailing while the other 2 didn't. It was a great mix, and yet we all looked right together!

My girls all have different body shapes, so I didn't feel right squeezing them all into the same dress. I figured if they're going to be paying $150-200 for a dress, they might as well get something they like, something that suits their figures, and something they're willing to wear again later. Mine are all the same fabric and length, with the exception of the cocktail length one, which will be lengthened just a tad so they all fall below the knee.

It was super-cute to go shopping with them and see one dress sort of "click" - like "this is the ONE!" And fortunately it was a different dress for each bridesmaid, so there were no conflicts to duke out.

Love it! They will look great!

Gorgeous!!!!

I love the sage green color!

Great choices!! I think I am going to be using the same color!

Maybe we''ll be BM dress color twins!

Yayyy! Beautiful dresses! I love the idea of having the BM''s choose their own dress. That way everyone can feel comfortable and they can choose dresses that are perfect for their specific body-type. Congrats for checking it off the list!

Those are really pretty. I LOVE the color. I toyed with having bridesmaid''s dresses the exact same color.

LOL, me too. In fact that is still at the top of my list color wise. Although, I am going to go with one, maybe two necklines versus everyone picking a different dress.

Great choice though!

Thanks, everyone!

sctsbride09 - Classy is exactly the word I''d use to describe these dresses. My girls have great taste!

neatfreak, bee, sparkalicious, dijon - thanks!

Sarah, redfaery - I love sage green, no matter how "trendy" it''s become; it''s a great wedding color and looks good on everyone. And it matches my eyes.

I was going to go with a slightly lighter, more honeydew-ish green, but it washed people out.

Laura, dcgator - that was exactly the idea, to have them all wearing dresses that suit their body types. Different necklines on a similar silhouette would also work the same way...for example, 2 of my girls rocked the strapless dresses, and 2 had shoulders that looked better in some sort of strap.
