My First Tsavorite

Have you picked up your new tsavorite yet? I haven’t set mine as I have not been able to find the appropriate matching hot pink pair of baguette/emerald cut heat only sapphire/ untreated spinel. It will be set in a ring someday though. As of now, it is still unset until I either manage to find the sidestones or come up with a new ring design.

Hi VR and Chrono, I have received the tsavorite last night but didn''t get a chance to post about it last night. It is gorgeous, I love it! It is a very vivid green and I am still wondering how to set it. Will try to take some pictures and post them. It''s really quite hard to find time to take pictures -- I work full time and in the evenings, my hands are full with my two kids. I may get some time on the weekends when during my kids'' naptime.

I got all excited to see the thread bumped up again and opened the thread to see NOTHING! Well, okay, not nothing but no pictures.

I’ll be polite and say that I’m glad the tsavorite looks great but how can I be sure without pictures?

Sorry ma''am, but will try my best to get pictures, I promise. But i won''t be able to get any pictures of my pink spinel ring as I have locked that up in the bank''s safe deposit box when I had my bathroom renovated two weeks ago and had contractors walking in and out of my apartment.

klewis - If you are interested in Swala''s tsavs, you should definitely contact Eric@Swala & ask if he has any stone in your spec - apparently, a lot of their stones are not online. Eric is really nice, and quick to respond to your queries/ request for additional photos etc.

Thanks VR- I had been in contact with Eric regarding spinel but didn''t purchase then but when/if I''m looking for tsavorite I would definitely consider Swala.
