My First Pearl Necklace -- White Drips from Catherine

I started a thread about a month ago asking for help finding a pearl necklace after being introduced to Catherine Cardellini Pearls by iLander.

I fell in love with a white drop freshwater pearl necklace on Catherine Cardellini's site but it was already sold. I emailed Catherine and she didn’t have any of those pearls left so she cut up this necklace:

Here’s what Catherine wrote about them on her site:

Description: Beautiful, high lustre, smooth and plump, white drip freshwater pearls, simple and very, very pretty. Strung on white silk and knotted.
Photos taken before I trimmed the threads off.
Grade: AAA
Pearl Size: 10.7mm x 9.1mm down to 9.4mm x 8.6mm at clasp.
Length: 21 inches (53.34cm)
Clasp: Handmade rolled gold hook and eye.

I absolutely love them and Catherine was wonderful to work with!

I like the way they look classy and still look young, they don't look dowdy or anything. And such lovely hair! My DD has hair like that, but in brown. Gorgeous stuff!

You're tall, young and gorgeous and now you're classy with the pearls? Aim for the richest guy, since the pickings look like they will be easy for you! I tell my DD "It's just as easy to fall in love with a rich man, as a it is to fall for a poor man".

The pearls look lovely on you and it is a really great strand!

For some reason my hair looks auburn in those photos. It’s really medium brown with dark blonde highlights. I actually like the auburn color… now I might have to change my color!

Haha, I think that might have been my mom’s plan. My sister is the complete opposite—she’s set on making her own money and I love that about her but it’s definitely nice to be with someone that has money.
