My first OEC

Today I discovered this sweet OEC glowing brightly despite the very bad lighting at my local pawnshop! Not sure of the size or other stats but it faces up quite white and appears to be at least 0.5 ct.
Not sure if the setting is old but it’s that antique rosy yellow gold with a double white gold bezel separated by a narrow airline. It has a visible black inclusion but it’s not very noticeable when my hand is in motion.
Size 8–My size! So I had to get it :-) $650 so I think it was not too bad of a deal?

Great find!

It's beautiful! Yay for pawnshops!

Love that! Also love pawn shops :)

Thanks all ! I’m really pleased with my find! It was definitely the prettiest diamond in the case, and it looks so much bigger because of the white bezels ;)
My husband wants me to convert it to a necklace but I am going to keep it on my finger where I can enjoy all the flashes.

Beautiful! I want to see more pics sans phone case (which seems to be a reddish color).

Really beautiful, great find!

Congratulations on your first OEC! I really like both the setting and the stone, the facets look very pretty. Definitely backing you on the decision to keep it as it is, the setting is too nice to break apart, and being your size already, it's meant to be.

I wonder if the setting could be antique to early vintage. Do you see any marks on the inside?

Do please post hand shots soon if you can, we'd love to see more of it!

@goldnsilver
No markings at all!
Hands too dreadful for handshots at the moment but I am inspired to go for a manicure!!

I need to figure out how to post a video. This stone really does have that glow from within that I’ve read about with OECs. I can’t keep my eyes off it! Wow!

In case it's helpful - I don't think we have the option to post videos directly onto the forum, but people usually upload them to their (private) Youtube or Vimeo channels and then imbed the links here.

That sounds awesome. Yay for videos!

Oh this is lovely!! Lively diamond and I love the double bezel and the profile. Beautiful ring at a good price, great find!

I love rings the most, but I have to say this would make a really beautiful pendant if you decided to go that route.

My .46 RBC from my original e-ring is in a bezel pendant, and I wear it all the time. It's the little black dress of jewelry for me! But it's true that you can't look it at all the time if it's around your neck, and your ring is soooo pretty!

Finally getting around to posting the promised handshots!DDE84693-A6B3-46A1-803A-2D74574D66A6.jpeg

Oops sorry the pic so big and ugh the dry skin!
But you can see the diamond as it looks 24/7! The facet pattern is kinda messy, but it is incredibly glow-y in all lighting and has a larger than life presence for it's size on my size 8 finger! I love it!
And I think I need to give credit to @PreRaphaelite for the vintage engraved white gold band that I picked up pre-owned on Etsy a while back :) I love it with this stack.
