My Faint fluorescence

Hello I need some sort of advise. Well it may be too late for advise since i already bought this, but here goes.
I recently purchased a round diamond. VS2 F color 56 table, 62.1 depth, med girdle, no inclusions on the table or crown. Inclusion located on the pavillion- which are only pinpoints, and feather. It is a EX cut, EX polish, VG symmetry, faint fluorescence.

The ring appears to me beautuful, but I am worried that it was a bad choice cause of the fluorescence being faint. I see slight bluish, but the diamond is clear.
Can someone tell me if i made the right choice. I paid $26K for it. Ive read all the info online about fl but is wanting another point of view. Help!

Not at all - faint fluor wouldn''t even be visible to the normal human

The current trends are against fluor... Years ago people actively sought it out, and no doubt years from now they''ll do the same.

I think you''re good! Faint flur isn''t a bad thing. It shouldn''t be noticeable to the naked eye and is typically only noticeable when you''re out in sunlight if that.

Thank you...but i seemed to think the jewelry people may have fooled me by saying it doesnt effect my price or appearance. When i get it appraised im afraid that i may get a lower value which will really upset me. Any thoughts?

There are a ton of reasons it could potentially appraise for a lower value than what you paid that are well ahead of faint flour. Basically, it almost couldn''t be less of a worry (if it''s accurately graded).

If you want a few opinions telling if what you paid is in the right ballpark, we need a bunch more info:
-Lab that graded it (cert # if possible)
-weight
-dimensions
-crown/pavilion angles, or height %''s
-star/lgf #''s (not totally necessary, but it helps)

Tony is right as are the others, it is very unlikely faint fluorescence will affect the value of the stone and as to visual effects, you will probably never even see it.
