First of all, I'd like to say thank you to all the Pricescopers who have posted about Crafted By Infinity and High Performance Diamonds! That's how I heard about them, so thanks a bunch! I'd like to pay it forward by describing my experience with CBI and HPD.

Like in all the reviews I've come across, I was super-impressed when I first saw my CBI diamond. It sparkles beautifully and of course looks fantastic through the ASET and Idealscope viewers (included with order from HPD). Sometimes things are hyped up and when you see it in person, it's a letdown. This was definitely NOT the case. The diamond was bright and clear and fiery. =)2

Now, as you can tell from my profile, I haven't posted before and am not a diamond expert like many folks on PS are. To answer the question (in other posts) about the difference in light performance between CBI and Whiteflash ACA diamonds, I would have to say that it may be hard to tell if you're just an average customer like me. I have one of each, and looking at them side by side, I couldn't see a significant difference. Experts might be able to, but I'm not one. IMO, they both have beautiful cuts.

Something others have pointed out is that CBI is very consistent in their cuts. If you take a look at a few of their diamonds on the HPD website, you'll see how much this is true. Their proportions are very similar from one diamond to another. This takes away most of the need (unless you have very specific preferences) to pull up reports and check crown angles, pavilion angles etc. It simplifies your search like in stores such as Tiffany or De Beers, that tell you their cut is top-notch so you only have to worry about the other 3 C's. Except that CBI's prices are much better than Tiffany or De Beers. And I'd be willing to bet that CBI's cut is more consistent.

So yes, I've fallen into the same trance as others before me who have purchased CBI diamonds. =)2 But there's another factor that made the experience even better - the exceptional customer service from HPD and CBI!

Layla from HPD was extremely helpful in answering questions and finding a diamond with specific characteristics. She reached out to CBI, and they in turn provided extra information to help find the right diamond. The best way I can describe it is that it's like a small-business or family-owned business kind of feeling, where they make that extra effort to work with you to find what you're looking for. Also, Wink from HPD amazed me with how fast the order was processed, shipped, and received!

So... a CBI diamond really is as beautiful as people say. The customer service really is as amazing as people say. And on top of that, there are HPD's lifetime guarantees. I am so happy to have found that combination! =)2 So Pricescopers, thanks again for writing about them!

Thank you for letting us know about your experience. We’d love to see pictures! Any details on the diamond in particular that you chose?

Welcome to PS! I must say that you are the second recent poster to create an account just to 'share your experience with CBI and Layla'. She was a very helpful poster here on PS for many years. However, most people that come here with a testimonial are also sharing pictures and particulars about the diamond they purchased and it seems that you have or had an ACA stone that was never shared with us before either.

Please share your diamonds with us - we would love to see them and hear all about the diamonds!

I’m happy you have a gorgeous diamond, but I don’t understand your long post without any pics.

Im not allowed to say much about a vendor being in the trade but im gonna risk saying that Layla rocks!
She spent many years on here tirelessly helping consumers for free before joining HPD.

Show us your CBI! ;-)

Will post pics in a few days. Out of town right now and don't have it with me since it's a loose diamond.

Thanks for the welcome! A few months ago I hadn't even heard of Pricescope. I haven't been looking at diamonds very long and don't know enough to advise others, so I've never posted. Just wanted to share this experience because Pricescope is how I found out about CBI, so it's something I could do to help others find what they're looking for. Pictures coming!

By your post I thought you had it on hand.

I'm out of town right now and didn't bring it with me (loose, not mounted yet). It's been super busy reacting to COVID-19, so I had to post when I had time.

cannot wait to see your CBI! and yes, layla and wink and the whole team are so fantastic!
