We just ordered my eternity band!! I don't have pics of the exact ring, but here's the sample which features the correct sized stones. It will be made out of .20 point RBs set with U prongs and will total about 3.4 - 3.5 carats. Surprisingly, it doesn't look that bad with my e-ring, although I'll most likely wear them on separate hands. Cannot wait to get the real one in!

It's really, really beautiful! Can't wait till you get the real thing either please post lots of pics! =)
Congrats! Gorgeous wedding band!

it looks fabulous with and without your ering! can't wait to see more pics :D

I really like it with your ering!

It looks great with your e-ring. But it can totally stand on its own. Can't wait for more pics!

Ditto what everyone said. Eternity looks great with your ering and by itself. A few questions.
1. Is it comfortable to wear, as the ring has fairly large (20-pts) stones going all around?
2. Suppose one day you feel like wearing the eternity with your ering, will you worry about possible damage/scratching?

I am thinking about getting an eternity (or 3/4 eternity) myself, but am not sure about stone size and comfort/discomfort. Are there any other cons that I have not yet mentioned?

I read somewhere that stone loss is common in pave or shared prong setting. Do you think U-prong has more or less potential of losing diamonds? I love U-prong setting, so I am curious about what you think.

It looks awesome with your ering, AND on its own too!! Yippee for options!

What a gorgeous set! Can't wait to see your handshots once you get your ring!

Its going to be gorgeous!

Very beautiful! I love how the two different rings look together! :appl:

I only tried on the sample for a few minutes, but it felt pretty comfortable.

I probably won't wear the set together very often, so I'm not really concerned with scratching.

I had the same concern with you about U-prongs, but my jeweler assured me that they are just as secure as standard prongs, so I have nothing to worry about. And I absolutely love how they show the diamond profile, similar to my e-ring profile. We will definitely get it insured though - better to be safe than sorry!

Your band is beautiful. I am picking mine up tomorrow, FINALLY! I've been waiting for weeks. It will be 2 carats and have 11 diamonds going 1/2 around the band. It was custom made, so I'm nervous how it will turn out. I have faith in my jeweler though.

LAG2010, I have always loved your ring! It is truly one of my favorites. I love your new band. My eternity only has 10 pointers but
I wear it often with my e-ring. I know you said you won't do that a lot, but it looks great. Especially for those days when an
extra bit of sparkle on your finger just makes you happy to look at it.

It is going to be a stunner! Congratulations!

LAG2010...your eternity will be FABULOUS. I have a uprong eternity and they are so comfortable. I wear it with my e-ring and it's comfortable. My stones are .10 each but your .20 will be AWESOME!!!!! Can't wait to see the pics

It's just perfect!

I know I said this before, but I really do like it! (Just came across this thread again and took another peek!) It does look good with your e-ring, but the exposed girdles might rub against your ering and chip... I too have a split shank and thought about wearing my shared prong with my set, but the rubbing prompted me to make it an rhr. Can't wait to see your actual ring! :appl:

My goodness that is gorgeous! I have a 10 pt u-prong, but i love the was the 20 point looks on your hand - so very beautiful!
