My Engagement Ring

My wonderful fiance proposed just before Christmas, but I have only recently found the macro setting on our camera. So... I thought I would finally share some pictures from our most recent photo shoot.

The ring is a 1.54 ct, I, SI2 set in a custom platinum setting created at our local jeweler. The total carat weight of the ring is just over 2 carats. My ring size is 6.25.

I just adore it!

dreamer, I''m thinking of getting something very simple - possibly a thin platinum band with milgrain edges. Haven''t tried anything on yet though, so we''ll see if that looks as good in reality as it does in my mind.
