My engagement ring!

Just got engaged yesterday! The ring was his mom''s, the diamond is a family stone. The center stone measures 6mm, and that''s all I know about it aside from it being an old European cut.

We're getting married at the end of October.

I tried to load an idealscope image, but there was a problem.

He proposed while we were in Cafe Reggio in the Village, in NYC. We had gone for an amazing breakfast at Toast in Harlem, and then to the MOMA, and were warming up with some coffee and hot chocolate, and he proposed. I made him ask three times before I said yes.

The wedding is actually going to be in NJ, but only about 15 minutes from the city. The ceremony will take place outside in a gazebo, cocktail hour in one room, and then the reception in the grand ballroom. The festivities start half an hour before the wedding, and the guests will be greeted with champagne, mimosas, belini''s and coffee. Should have a few buzzed before I even come down the isle!
