Well, here''s my story--my fiance and I picked out my ring together--we got the largest, most sparkly diamond we could find within a tight budget, as we are both swimming in heavy student debt...we''d been together 5 years and were ready to take the next step and get engaged...not knowing much about diamonds at the time, I ended up with a deep cut 1.01 solitaire (cut the with of a .90)---AND the diamond was uncertified! I didn''t realize untill later, when i came here, lurked for a million years and gathered more info on diamonds that I made a pretty compromised choice--I should have gone smaller with better specs within budget...
...BUT--as it turns out, my diamond ended up being quite a sparkly beauty nonetheless...and she''s a true E color--extremely white...the "appraisal document" it came with said vaguely it was SI range--the dreaded SI3 pergatory I presume...any way--I just call her a beautiful I1 with much pride....
