I LOVE the snowflake picture you posted! It reminded me of my favorite fairy tale when I was younger, The Twelve Dancing Princesses. It's been a while since I've read it, but there's one part where the princesses walk through a forest of bejeweled or golden trees. I used to daydream about that as a kid. One year for Christmas, my mom bought a tiny little tabletop tree and decorated it with necklaces, bracelets, and earrings for my present (all costume bling, of course!) It was the most exciting gift EVER! My dad has video footage of me actually crying with joy! I still have fantasies about receiving a bling-covered tree, but this time with genuine gems! I don't think I'm ever good enough for Santa to consider that, however.
