My ebay find with a surprise stone

I've been looking for a used right hand eternity ring on ebay. Something inexpensive but with decent diamonds. I always get outbid. I won this little guy the other night for what I think is cheap, assuming it's not fake or poorly described.

I got it today and immediately noticed a dark stone. I thought it was actually missing one and was so annoyed! It turns out, it's a purple (amethyst) stone! What the heck? How did the seller miss this? In the 6 photos, this stone was not in any of them. Here's the listing info:

I seem to be a dummy, lol. Last night and today I can't for the life of me locate the purple stone. The seller must have used washable marker to mark the stone so that he could count how many diamonds there are, LOL!
