Hi PSers! It's been a while since I've posted, but I wanted to come back to share my latest piece. I searched on PS when the idea first came into my head, and there wasn't anything like it on the site, so I thought others could use it as a resource in the future! I've been looking around, and admiring all the beautiful pieces
everyone has gotten for the holidays! Anyway, my E-ring is a round 1.20 ct. G VS2 solitaire in a 6-prong knife-edge, platinum setting. (I'll try to find some of my old posts later for the exact specs). I have always liked round shapes and heart shapes, and 10 years ago, I kept going back and forth in my head about which I'd prefer for an e-ring. I decided on the round, but the hearts have always stuck in my mind. I wanted to upgrade a little, but I'm sentimentally attached to my e-ring stone, so I decided to add 2 heart-shaped sidestones (to represent each of my 2 children). I did this in the form of a wrap ring because I still like the option of wearing my e-ring as a solitaire. I learned about heart-shaped diamonds, and started to search for the perfect pair about 2 years ago. I was really surprised that even after consulting with PS vendors, I was not able to find a heart-shaped diamond in the size and with the specs I was looking for. And then to find a matching pair! This past summer, I finally found what I was looking for, and ordered from B2C Diamonds. I then commissioned a local jewelry store to custom design and make the platinum wrap. I am thrilled at how it turned out! Thanks for reading and looking!
