My Dream Red Ruby Valentine Ring

I want to share my new red ruby ring that my husband designed all by himself! Or at least without me, I'm sure designer Maytal Hannah helped just a little bit, but it was a complete surprise. My hubby knows that I've always loved rubies, and that lately I've been searching for an antique style ring with rubies. I've seen a few that were actual antiques, but they didn't quite do it for me. So he decided to surprise me with a new ring that had a vintage look to it, and here is what he and Maytal came up with, it so unique, I love it! Here are some pictures I took as well as some from Maytal.

Well done to your husband and Maytal! The vibrant color of your ruby contrasted with the super white melee halo- is soooo stunning! And then the intricate romantic profile of the basket and shank is the icing on the cake. Among other things, I love the little window in the basket design peeking through to the pavilion. I would seriously frame this drawing -- although they probably keep the sketch. I just love these! Or are there people who do "boudoir photos" of rings? How can we enjoy these things without having to wear them 24/7?
