I answered my own question - I was thinking of this dreamy 5.64 H VVS2 Asscher (they''re both amazing rings!):

I am so driving my poor a$$ to San Marino... of course, I've been threatening to do that for many months, now!

Uuuuuummmmmmm ...

I wanna know too lol. Probably in the 100k range if not higher.

I am pretty sure I am going to start leaning toward an asscher for my e-ring upgrade...I just loved them from the start, but I thought they made my fingers look chubby. Now I don''t care! Lol.

fabulous!

It was over $100,000 when I saw it in Nov 2007, so I''m sure it''s much more with the increase in diamond prices. The high crown is just magnificent....

Who designed the first one? The halo is perfect!

wow!! that asscher is gorgeous!

Um, Lori, I believe this is my dream ring . . .

It''s beautiful but I think it''s a little too big for me. Opps I can''t believe I said that.

I love that halo setting but unfortunately am not falling for that first Asscher! The table looks too big and the windmills too thin...it kind of looks dull to me. However, that second Asscher that Ninama posted is TDF!

I was wondering abut the cuts. I'd love to see more angles on both of them! I'll just have to go look at that Single Stone ring up close and personal. Asschers are amazing.

The first one look glassy and see-through to me... which I like. Probably because I'm really attracted to big, speady rose cuts. It may not be a desirable thing in Asschers... I don't know much about them.

Single Stone calls this one an Asscher/rose cut (3 ct) - I guess the back is sort of flat? I think it's intriguing...
