My DIY Favor Box

Since this came out so well, I figured I would try my hand at another Wedding Project...

My very own DIY boxes. And yes, they are DIY all the way! I made them out of construction paper. Not sure what is going to go in the center just yet... but I think it needs a little something...

What do you think?

I was thinking of that... but it all depends on what we''re doing as the actual favor...

Idea 1: Customized Shot Glasses with hershey kisses around it in the box. On the top of the box put a sticker printed with: A shot of love and a box of kisses, a wonderful treat from the Mr. and Mrs!

Idea 2: Put the printed label somewhere in the box with the shot glass and kisses

Idea 3: Put the label on the bottom of the box. (Probably not going to do this b/c I want it to be noticeable.)

I got my ribbon on the corners idea from a scrapbook I had bought a few years ago. It had a ribbon that went across it just like the one I''m doing for our boxes and the martha stewart ones you posted. I love that look!

So cute! And I use to make those "origami" boxes all the time when I was younger. It never crossed my mind to make them into favor boxes until now! I love the label idea, and the little poem with the shot glass and kisses! You''re going to have such a FAB wedding!

Maybe I''ll test out the daisy on top and take a pic so you guys can see... however, right now I only have the size that I used for my Wedding Card Box. Oh well, should give you an idea....

The top on this one isn''t the one I''m actually using. It doesn''t take up so much of the pink like this one does. But anyway, here''s with the flower. I don''t really like it but I think it may be because it''s too big. (And plus, it doesn''t have the ribbon on the corners like it will when they are all done.)
