My diamond finally arrived for IS and ASET

I was just informed that my diamond arrived at WF, so I am waiting on ASET and IS images. I should have them posted tonight for you lovely folks to look at. This thing was supposed to come in a week ago (last Tuesday), but there was some mixup and it didn''t get in until today. I hear its eye-clean, so thats one item down.

Now, I shall go take my federal tax exam.

Here are the images. Its not perfect with a little leakage it seems from the ASET. The inclusions are eye-clean. I don't know how the read these things as well as you guys. The crown angle seems to be a little high... opinions welcome. Let me know if its a dud.

It is not a tip top performer, but I wouldn''t call it a dud. You are right, it is showing some leakage under the table (the pale area in IS and dark in ASET). This is still a well above average stone, and depending on price, could be a good buy. It is just not quite to the totally ideal performance.

The IS almost makes it look like it has the ''ring of death''... does it? I''m definitely getting a good price on it.

Not a fabulous stone, but could be very nice in person. If you are happy with the price, then you can always see what it looks like when you get it.

Only you can decide whether spending the extra dollars to get a super duper cut stone is worth it.

Either way, let us know what you decide, and come back with pictures

Ditto, I doubt the slight leakage would be visible to the naked eye in reality, if the price is right then it could be a good pick.

Wow! This diamond is awesome!!! I have looked at the AGS0 signature diamonds at Jared''s and this thing looks more beautiful than them. Maybe I am just a little bit biased, but its a stunner. I was seriously wondering if they sent me the wrong diamond, haha. Its amazing!!! I was trying to capture some photos and haven''t been super successful yet. I''ll post some up anyways. I don''t have a macro lens, so its pretty tough to get a well focused close up, bceause I have to use manual focus to get real close and I don''t have steady hands.

This is not a ACA stone, but looks like it has hearts & arrows, right?

Its actually not a H&A - I was told its very close. The photos I posted don't do it justice. I'm about to post some new ones that we just took outside... I think they will really show off its beauty. The arrows shot that I posted is blurry and dark because my camera was so close. Its a GIA ex/ex/ex. ACA stones are only AGS0 stones I think.

Go ahead and disregard the photos I posted above... these are way better - the stone is a little dirty though.
