He just called me to tell me...

Says my front bumper is all messed up...

He''s OK though, which is what''s important. He says he looked down for a second (isn''t that how most accidents happen?)

Anwway - what''s funny is that he wasn''t going to take my car - he went back and forth between taking his car and mine, and ended up taking mine...

But at the same time his car is more expensive than mine, so maybe it''s all for the better...

Oh dear - so sorry to hear this, but glad hubby is OK

My DH (then BF) messed up the rear bumper of my car several years ago - his parents were visiting and I guess they must have been stressing him out

Hi CJ,

Awh - your poor husband must have had a shock. Make sure to give him a big hug when he come home.

(sympathy for your car too!)

I agree, bender benders are scary, big hugs to your hubby!

D''oh!!

Sorry to hear that! Ditto Steel''s advice, give him a hug and hopefully your car will be sorted soon.

Thanks for the support, guys...

I did give him a hug...poor thing - I''m sure he did not enjoy calling me to tell me he had gotten into an accident with my car...he said the hit felt pretty hard, even though they were traveling very slow, because the light had just turned.

We already filed the claim, so now it''s all just $ and inconvenience from here...always a pain when these things happen.

CJ2008: He is ok and that is what counts the most.Your car can be fixed.Hope it won''t cost too much.

scarleta - absolutely...at the end of the day, it''s just $ and time, and that''s what I told him, too - he was feeling pretty bad about the car. But it is still a pain in the a$$ to deal with.

I''m sorry CJ. Last year my hubby was picking me up from work, slid on some ice at the entrance to the parking lot to my office and banged up the entire passenger side of my car. I''m still not happy about it but he was not hurt and the car can be fixed. Hope it doesn''t cost too much to have your car repaired!

Glad your Hubby is okay CJ

Thanks again, guys...we''re taking the car in tomorrow to assess the damage.

How did I miss this thread?!

CJ, I''m sorry about your car but I''m glad that your DH is OK!

DJ, you had the PC and a 100-page document in your brain! haha

Thanks though!

LOL! (And I'm down to 96 pages now that I straightened out the wonky format!
