My DECO inspired emerald and diamond Toi et Moi by DK

Toi et Mois have become so popular and I'm drawn to the romantic idea behind them. So if course I wanted one too! Wasn't sure what I wanted until I saw some that were "stacked" instead of side by side. A little different. Just what I like!

I bought a .60 square cut no oil Muzo from Dana. Not a perfect stone, but the color was divine. And that glow in the sun- pure magic. I then bought a .55ct S/T colored oec from Old World- a truly sunny sparkler. I also had two small square side diamonds- sold to me as "square french cut" but look to me more like peruzzi cuts.

With gems chosen I did a few cads with DK until they sent the one that was perfect.



A few weeks later, DK sent photos. But after looking at them a few times., I felt it was missing something. I wanted engraving! I told DK do what you think looks good.

On to pictures--- unfortunately the size is off on my arthritic finger, so I'm going to need it sized up. But here she is on my pinky for now!

I've been ruminating that if I'm ever to make anything again- I may go the toi et mois route and use on of my little spinels because I can't afford much and after the issues with the house, this would be the only way.

Thank you ALLl! I'm glad you like it! There were earlier renditions, but once this came together I knew it was just right! @ItsMainelyYou I got the emerald because I loved it...but what the heck was I going to do with a 4.5mm emerald? The toi et moi was a perfect solution to use a few stones I had, & an an excuse to seek out the right oec
(1st Old World purchase-albeit small- but Adam was great!)
Was a great solution - I enjoy my little emerald and a ring that just makes me smile. And my 29th anniversary is next week so the timing is perfect
