Oh man...my ering!! Ugh, now that I am married, people always want to see the ring...which at the moment is just 2 plain stacked bands. Its pretty anticlimactic. I would really like something in time for a party my friends are throwing us, but definitely by the time we renew our vows in Sept.

I am trying to decide between a completed ring, a "starter" stone, a "forever" stone in temp setting (and then, RB or OEC?? Or Marquise with baquette sides?), or that gorgeous 5 stone of KT''s Mom''s. Ugh I am indecisive!

Oh, and studs, like Princesss. I have wanted studs and a rolling ring FOREVER.

Princesss...do you mean the loop of the chain would be in the front? I think I know what you mean, if so. That would be awesome!

That''s exactly what I mean. And it would hit where at 16 or 17 inch necklace would hit, and then the actual pendant would hang down lower than that with a big, juicy pear at the bottom. Maybe peridot? Something green...

Love it. I have seen stuff like that, but I like the idea of a really thin chain. Yummmm.

ETA have you seen Alloamie's set in SMTR? She has a RG rope solitaire...its gorgeous.

Princess you have some lovely ideas cooking on the back burner don''t you. I think a green tourmaline Pear by Barry would be lovely.

Miscka, I vote you get your ''forever diamond'' ... up from a vendor with a nice upgrade policy just in case. And a very inexpensive solitare to start. Then we''ll help you find your forever setting, and some lovely bands as time goes on.

Ooh! A tourmaline would be lovely. And yeah, I find myself doodling jewelry designs when I''m bored. I love projects, but right now they''re just dreams since I don''t know of a jeweler nearby that could do the kind of work I''m looking for and I don''t have the money, anyways. So I just buy the stones when there are some around my budget that suit the project I''m thinking about, or that inspire project ideas.

And Miscka, I vote forever diamond as well. Look at how it worked out for Coati!
